Intersection Dance Team

Arts Avenue’s Intersection Dance Team is a dance program developed for the dancer who desires more intensive dance training. Composed of five levels, the Intersection Dance Team is focused on technical training for both concert performances and competitions.

Intersection Dance Team members participate in a dance intensive each summer to learn skills and choreography for the upcoming season. These intensives are required for team members. In the fall semester, the Intersection Dance Team will perform a contemporary ballet. Dancers will also have the opportunity to attend the Tremaine Dance Convention, and the Dance Revolution Conference. In the spring semester, the Intersection Dance Team will compete in multiple dance competitions. The Intersection Dance Team will also have additional performance opportunities at events such as the Georgetown Christmas Stroll and the Poppy Festival.
