TLFA Legacy Pom & Cheer

We're excited to share a new opportunity that may be a great fit for some of our students and families.

Texas Legacy Football Academy (TLFA) is a faith-based, elite football program built on strong values, purpose, and excellence. Located in Georgetown, TX, TLFA offers 11-man football for homeschool, charter, and private school athletes, focusing on development and football education for middle school and high school students.

For the 2026–2027 season, TLFA is exploring the launch of a Legacy Pom & Cheer team to support and elevate the spirit and culture of their football program. The performance season for this team would be centered around the football season, with dancers performing during halftime and on the sidelines at games.

​

This new program would be developed in partnership with Arts Avenue's elite competitive team, Intersection Dance Team, and its Director, and will reflect our shared commitment to excellence in the arts without compromising values.

One exciting aspect of this opportunity is that it is designed to provide students with a positive team environment and strong community experience while maintaining a manageable time commitment and lower cost compared to many traditional programs.

It is also important to note that participating in this team does not commit a dancer to Arts Avenue. The team is simply powered by Arts Avenue, allowing students to remain in school dance teams, competition teams, or other contracts they may already have.

Additionally, dancers who are currently part of Intersection Dance Team are welcome to participate in this team alongside IDT.

At this stage, TLFA is simply collecting interest from families as they begin planning what we believe will be an incredible inaugural season. At this time, we are accepting students in grades 4-12.
